RAZE wasn’t supposed to be my first film. It just happened like that. We ended up shooting only 6 weeks before I was to leave to shoot McCanick. With this condensed shooting schedule, and abbreviated prep-time, it caused me to “shoot-from-the-hip” a bit more and resulted in a film which is very close to my instincts. Like all films, I’d love to go back and do some things differently if I could. But overall, I am pleased with the final outcome.
