Who we are

Woodhead is operated by Woodhead Creative Unipessoal Lda, NIF 516 217 402. Our registered office is Avenida Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, Torre 1, Piso 3, Sala 11, Amoreiras, 1070-101 Lisboa, Portugal. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact us at info@wearewoodhead.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address and message. If you choose to provide more details, we also receive your company, project type, approximate shoot dates, production needs and any project files you upload. Please share only information needed for your enquiry and avoid sensitive personal information.

Our website provider, Squarespace, also processes technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, and website activity. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our Cookies policy. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our contact form from spam and abuse.

How and why we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess projects, discuss services and prepare proposals. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, we process information for those steps. For other business enquiries, administration and website security, we rely on our legitimate interests in running our business and responding to relevant requests, balanced against your rights. We may also process information to meet legal obligations. Optional analytics cookies require your consent.

Sending an enquiry is not consent to receive marketing emails.

Who receives your information

Information is available to the Woodhead team and service providers needed to operate the website, deliver form submissions and handle email. These include Squarespace and email providers. Google processes information through reCAPTCHA under its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must use an appropriate legal safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond, maintain relevant project discussions and meet legal or record-keeping requirements. Retention depends on whether an enquiry becomes an ongoing project or business relationship. We review information and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it; this does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email us to make a request. We normally respond within one month, subject to any lawful extension.

You may complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), or your local supervisory authority.
